The cricket is on (the internet) and I had to go out and meet someone. Bugger, you may think. That's not the case. Not anymore. There are a couple of places where you can access the internet, for free, so long as you have a wireless connection.
So, now I'm sitting in
BeiBei's cafe-bar. I'm typing this and enjoying a small bottle of chilled Harbin Beer. The ambience is something else; a quiet bar where the owners love jazz music. Apart from that, they also prefer English songs over Chinese. That may suit most people. Me? I prefer to listen to good Chinese music. That excludes all the rubbish that has been 'copied' from the West.
Beibei's is a great bar.. I really should write an article about the place.
Another place in Qinhuangdao where the 'net is freely available is, of course, McDonald's. So.. go and get fat and surf at the same time. Wow! The
septic tanks really know how to market themselves.
I don't mind people getting fat.. Just DO NOT learn to shout like those from the 'best country in the world'. Because the rest of the world will start to laugh at you too.
Qinhuangdao welcome wireless people.
PS. I am being informed of other venue with wireless access as I type. i will update you directly.
